Friday Food Fun: Pink Berry Smoothie

After the tart fiasco last week, I thought I'd better make this week's treat more healthy. And I think I have a new favorite!
Pink Berry Smoothie
1 c mixed berries, fresh or frozen
I used a mixture of cherries, raspberries, blueberries, & strawberries.
1 c cranberry juice
1/4 c yogurt
I used nonfat plain Greek yogurt for extra protein.
1/2 frozen banana
2 T agave nectar
1 t vanilla extract
1 T flax meal, optional

Put it all in the blender and mix.
Yum!
Makes one 16 oz serving, or two 8 oz for sharing

I made lunch out of this and couldn't wait until the photo shoot was done...

Yum! I might sub out the cranberry juice for almond milk since that's all I have. Maybe add some protein powder as well.
