Wild Geese that Fly...

This week's Monday favorites are from our vacation with family in Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina last week.
Enjoy!
My grandson Preston's drawings (he's 10)

The view from my mom's farmhouse in the Appalachian Mountains

My sister's bunny dolls

The Hob Nob Farm Cafe in Boone, NC where App State U is located. Mom took us there for lunch while visiting her and my sister and brother-in-law.
I had the Crescent Moon Smoothie and a Garam Masala veggie dish with rice (yum!)
Fred had a jerk burger and mom had a brie, crab cake, and bacon sandwich with red lentil soup.
All the food is local and organic and the menu is very diversified--vegan, veg, carnivore, you name it.
My kind of place!

Grampy playing with the twins--too much fun!

Little hands

We had a great week driving across five states to see family.
I'll be posting more favorites from this trip in the next couple of weeks--too much fun to cram into one post!

Glad to hear you had such a great trip! That lunch place sounds amazing, I'm going to have to keep an eye out for it when I pass by later this month.

Oh, do look it up! You won't be disappointed. It's easy to find--right on the main drag.

Preston's drawing is amazing. He definitely got Jess's talent. Can not wait to see all that he produces in the future.

He certainly did! He also wants to climb mountains and fly planes. Oh, and he's learning to play piano. No telling what he'll do!
