It's July?

I don't know about you guys, but last week was weird here. It turned out to be a two-day work week, if that. The fourth with all its stuff, and then Fred's birthday was Thursday. June and July are crammed with birthdays, anniversaries, and just special days for us. I can't believe we're a week into July already.

Yesterday we tackled some much-needed yard & home duties. We have this little back yard situation that needed some sprucing. We planted flowers.

As you can tell, I'm all about the container gardening. We also cleaned out our little shed. No before & after pics. Just trust me, the thing looked like the back alley of some inner-city dive. Now we can see the floor!

As for knitting, I am still working on projects kept under wraps. At least I finished and sent off one major one. Whew. Glad that's done.

.and fitting in bits of knitting on the new sock designs. Never enough sock-knitting time!
(That's Plymouth Sockotta in a color that looks like Fruit Stripes gum! Yipes, Stripes!)

Today is my one and only sister's birthday. Even though I don't think she reads my blog, I'll say Happy Birthday Sis! I love ya! Have a good one. Maybe she'll see. Mom, tell Linda to look!

I'll probably never know if she did. The only family member who comments here is my oldest daughter. (Hey, Emily, call me!)

Okay, I'll see you tomorrow for goodies--I've got some cool things to share. Have a super Sunday!

I'm starting to knit a lot of socks, too. Maybe I've gotten the sock bug from you through osmosis.

Love that green.
