YY Trunk Show
Folks, we are smack dab in the middle of a huge trunk show of Figheadh Yarnworks designs at Yorkshire Yarns of Lakewood, WA. If you are anywhere near there, stop by and see the 25 samples on display. I was visiting Sonya today and took a few shots of my sweeties hanging out at the shop.
Here's Baloo and OXO on top of the Cascade shelves, appropriately...
...and a medium Rudy and Little Rudy spending time with some very cute little sweaters and Sonya's ever-growing assortment of fantastic knitting and crochet books...
...Interwoven, Honeycomb, Diamond Cable, and Cable Crest sharing the table with other tempting lovelies...
...and Lombard Street Gloves warming themselves on the "wood stove" with other luscious mittens and such.
Have you enjoyed your little virtual visit to Yorkshire Yarns? Well, lemme tell ya, it's nothing like being there. This is one of the most comfy, fun yarn shops I've ever been to. Sonya has scads of gorgeous yarn, tables to sit up to and knit and chat, not to mention a big, cushy living room with soft couches and chairs to cuddle up and work on your FO's as long as you wish.
You'll receive all the friendly advice and welcome you could ever want at YY. So, what are you waiting for? Go see Sonya! Check out her class schedule (which will include some of my classes in February and March) and fun knitting and crochet groups, and give YY a try, especially in the next week while Figheadh stuff is there. One word of advice--if you plan to visit the Hooks and Needles group on Monday nights, get there early or you won't get a parking place. I was there last Monday night and it was crazy! Hurrah for knitters and crocheters! We love ya!
