Mostly not yarn
That's right--this post has very little yarn, so if that's what you came to see, come back next time! Instead, I'm trying to start catching up with posts by recounting a few life experiences of late.
Fred and I finally took a hike a couple of weeks ago up to Rampart Ridge at Mt. Rainier.
It was lovely.

Then in July Fred and I celebrated 8 years together and he gave me roses. I could fill the house with all the roses this man has given me since we refound each other 8 years last May. He's a sweet man and I am very fortunate to be married to him.
Next post I should tell you about the person who's come to stay with us for a while and about some new designs I've published lately. Let's hope I get that done before another month (or two) go by.
Stay cool! Fall's coming!
